Notes: Alexander MacFarlane was the Great Grandfather of Larry Wesson. Alexander MacFarlane and Annie Lamb had three children, William, born in 1891 in Cairndow,Samuel, born in Partick, Glasgow in 1892, and Annie born in Cairndow in1893, Annie was Larry Wesson’s Grandmother. Alexander MacFarlane was the first school teacher in Cairndow, he died in 1896 aged 31years. It is thought they lived at Pier Cottage.
